Digestion

Digestive problems are a pharmaceutical company's dream with a virtual enless string of miserable people arriving at the chemists to buy all sorts of products, that in the main you don't need.

Mastika

Mastica resin has been used for many thousands of years by the ancient Egyptian and Mediterranean cultures for a variety of uses such as an embarming fluid, incense oil and in the treatment of gastric ulcers. It has anti-oxidant properties and may decrease blood pressure and has anti-bacterial properties and may be ant-hypertensive effects.

Mastika is made up of over 70 ingredients which may account for its varied uses.

Ginger

Ginger has been used in traditional medicine for intestinal discomfort and flatulence, as well as inflammatory conditions such as arthritis. Valuable in helping with motion sickness as it has a calming effect in the stomach.

It can be used to restore function if you are experiencing discomfort after eating, promotes circulatory system health, eases migraine pain and helps in the reduction of bad cholesterol levels.

Pepermint

The colon is one of the most important parts of the digestive system, and a little help from pepermint can maintain the balance when it gets disturbed. Pepermint is a natural hybrid of the spearmint and watermint plants and it's leaves contain an oil whose active ingredient is menthol. It works by relaxing the muscular tissue in the digestive tract.

Senna

The Senna plant is native to Africa and the active ingredients are found in the leaves and seed pods.

Probably one of the world's most widely used laxatives
